This is Precisit

Precisit is a young consulting firm within software. Our consultants work frontend, backend and full stack with everything from web design to cloud solutions and game development. Our office is located in Uppsala and we have customers in both Uppsala and Stockholm.

Precisit was born from a dream of working with software development in the new space industry. As the company has grown, we have come to accommodate a multitude of dreams, and Precisit is driven by a desire to realise them all.

One of these dreams is about an equal society and an inclusive tech industry. Software and other areas of technology account for many of the solutions required for sustainable development, and diversified perspectives and skills in these industries are essential in building our common future.

Precisit is made up of engineers, designers, computer scientists and physicists, but what unites us is our humility and genuine passion for programming. The best teams are those that include many unique personalities, experiences and skills and we work hard to be a workplace where everyone thrives and grows.

We live our values

All people need to be included in the creation of our common future, but many perspectives are presently under-represented. In order for the industry to change in the long run, the next generation needs inspiring role models to identify with.

To handle this problem, we work in discussions and workshops to improve our awareness and our ways of working, and sponsor a number of initiatives for gender equality in the tech industry.

Precisit is part of TechEq, a network of companies with the purpose of exchanging insights on equal opportunities promotion; in that aspect, companies are not competitors. Through TechEq, Precisit held a ”Diversity in Perspective” themed panel debate together with Female Leader Engineer.

We sponsor Tjejer Kodar and let our employees join their programming camps for a week's course in web or game development. We hope for similar collaborations going forward and look for further important initiatives to support!

What's up with space?

Our passion for space has characterised Precisit since the beginning, but Precisit consists of a multitude of dreams and ideas and you do not have to share this passion to become part of us. At present, we are not working in the space industry but are fascinated by the technical leaps in the industry and their significance for humanity. Through the agile work method and smart software of the tech industry the aging space industry has undergone a revolution, and many other industries are changing in the same way. We see great potential in the new industry and our long term goal is to get assignments within the space industry.

We build Precisit together

Cooperation and community are the cornerstones of our work and we actively share knowledge, interests and perspectives with each other. We are constantly working to improve the company's culture and structure, and all employees have a real possibility to influence what we do and how we do it. We have a flat organisational structure with transparent decision making, most decisions are made after discussions in workshops during our conferences.

We value personal and professional development highly. Employees exchange feedback and coach each other, and Precisit offers support in leadership training or skills development. We develop ourselves together and Precisit is developed by us.
