Privacy policy

This policy describes how Precisit AB handles personal data when you visit precisit.com or contact us. Information collected for our products is described in each product's privacy policy on its website. A separate notice at the end of this page addresses administrators connecting a Google Ads account to Precisit Ads.

When you visit the website

Our web server records requests to keep the website secure, investigate faults and understand how pages and articles are used. These logs contain:

• Date and time, and your IP address.
• The path of the page or file requested.
• Request method, response status and technical delivery result.
• The referring address, if your browser sends one, and the browser's identification string, known as its user agent.

We do not record cookies or the query string of the requested address in these logs. The referring address is a separate field and can include both a path and a query string. The logs contain personal data, even though the statistics we produce are aggregated.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation, troubleshooting and understanding website use. Raw logs are encrypted, access-restricted and stored with AWS in Stockholm, with automatic expiry after 90 days. Saved query results expire after 30 days. Aggregate statistics that do not identify individual visitors may be kept longer.

Cookies, fonts and external links

The website's own code does not set cookies or use local storage to recognise you. Visitor statistics come from server logs, not Google Analytics. There is no Google Ads tag or other advertising or remarketing pixel on precisit.com. This policy does not constitute consent to future tracking.

Our fonts load from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts to display the website's text in our chosen typefaces. Your browser therefore connects to these providers when a page loads, giving them your IP address and technical request information. Adobe states that its font delivery service does not use cookies to serve fonts and does not store the IP address. Read more from Adobe Fonts and Google.

Social buttons and map links are ordinary links. When you open another website, its own privacy information applies. Precisit.com has no account, comment form or newsletter signup.

When you contact us

The website offers email and telephone contact, with no contact form. If you email us, we process your email address, your name if supplied, the message and any attachments to answer and follow up on your enquiry.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining business relationships. Where you are personally a party to a prospective contract and ask us to take steps towards it, that may instead be the basis. Information that the law requires us to retain is processed on that legal basis.

Email is handled in Gmail through Google Workspace. These messages currently have no fixed retention period and can remain until manually deleted. You can contact us to request erasure; we also assess whether any information needs to be retained for a remaining purpose or a legal obligation.

When you apply for work

If you send an application to our careers or student addresses, we process contact details, your CV and other material you choose to send. The purpose is to assess and discuss possible employment or an internship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in recruitment. Please send only information relevant to your application.

Applications are also handled in Google Workspace and currently have no fixed retention period. Sending a CV is not general consent for us to keep it for future recruitment.

Contact info@precisit.com if you would like us to delete an application. We assess whether any information needs to be retained for an ongoing matter or a legal claim.

Providers and processing outside the EEA

AWS provides website storage, content delivery and log analysis. Google Workspace handles our email. Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts deliver fonts to your browser. Authorised people at Precisit handle information for the purposes described above.

Our website logs are stored in Stockholm, but CloudFront uses a global delivery network and our other providers operate internationally. Processing can therefore take place outside the EU/EEA. We do not describe all website processing as confined to the EU.

For website hosting, email and fonts, the providers' data protection terms describe safeguards for international transfers, including European Commission standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable. Terms and further information are available from AWS, Google Workspace, Google and Adobe. Contact us for more information about the safeguards that apply to your data.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal data, correction, erasure or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. In certain circumstances, you also have a right to data portability. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the GDPR.

If processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email info@precisit.com. We may need to verify your identity to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person.

You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY. You do not need to contact us first. Read IMY's explanation of your rights.

Changes to this policy

We update this text when our processing or contact details change. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed. This policy for precisit.com does not replace the privacy information for our other services.

Precisit Ads: information for account administrators

Precisit Ads is our internal connection to Precisit's own Google Ads accounts. With the administrator's approval through Google OAuth, it reads account information, campaigns, ad groups, keywords and results such as impressions, clicks and costs. We use this to review our own advertising. The connection does not change campaigns or access Gmail or Drive.

Aggregate advertising reports may be processed by external communication and AI service providers for internal reporting and summarisation. This material relates to Precisit's own advertising.

Access credentials are held on Precisit's internal systems. The connection has no report database of its own, but retrieved information and summaries can be saved in our internal communications and documentation.

The administrator can revoke access through their Google account connections. This stops future access but does not automatically delete saved information. Contact info@precisit.com about retention or to request deletion.
